Designed by SOM and HKS Architects, The Beacon is the largest SF mix-used project to be developed in 15 years with 595 residential units on 16 floors and approximately 165,500sf of retail space and 20,000sf of office space. The housing/office complex is constructed over a 409,000 SF, four level parking structures for 1,200 cars. One level of parking will be underground and three levels will be above ground.

Common areas at The Beacon feature luxurious services like a concierge and 24-hour security, fitness center, and business center with meeting space. There is a large amount of outdoor space, which includes tree-lined terraces, a private dog park, a heated lap pool and two outdoor spas. The clubhouse includes a kitchen and 50-inch plasma TV.

TECI Civil engineering services for this LEED building begins at schematic and through construction administration phases. Construction Drawings included Site Improvement, Grading, Utility and Erosion Control plans. TECI also prepared the specification and provided Construction Administration services for the civil portion of the work.
